The Space Needle5) Space Needle 

Even though the Space Needle isn’t considered a space launch center, it’s worth the attention on this site and worth your attention.  Situated in Seattle, Washington, the Space Needle is a major landmark attraction.  The tower is 605 feet (184 m) in height and an observation deck at 520 feet (160 m) above the ground.  It take approximately approximately 43 seconds to arrive to the top via an elevator that travels 10 miles per hour (4.5 m/s).  The Space Needle also features the rotating SkyCity Restaurant.  A visit to Seattle is not complete without a trip up the Space Needle
